March 2006 - Roslyn, New York
"I brought this book for my daughter on Saturday because she too is a Transit Cop,
(midnight to 8) however, while I was waiting to give it to her I started reading it.  Needless
to say, I missed my stop this morning on my way to work because I couldn't take my eyes
out of chapter 7 to look up and see what station I was at.  When I did, I was in Brooklyn
instead of Manhattan Wall Street.  When I got to work, I immediately order another Book
for her because she won't be getting this one."

"Good Job Mr. Brown, I'm not even finish the book but I get an idea of what my baby girl
is going through.  Please keep her in Pray."
August 10, 2005 - San Diego Chronicle article, "Policing New York's Underground," by
Jim Kouri, CPP
"Tunnel Vision is so realistic and gritty, the only way to get closer to the action is to
become a transit cop in the Big Apple's subway system yourself."

"As a rule I don't usually do book reviews in my column.  However, as they say, there are
always exceptions that prove the rule and Tunnel Vision by W. K. Brown is just such an
exception."

_______________________________________________________________________________

Never again will the everyday routine of commuting on the underground rails of NYC be
taken for granted.  You will experience first hand the exciting, humorous and tragic
events that a Transit cop encounters while patrolling the belly of the beast, which is the
subway of NYC.

Tunnel Vision is an experience filled with excitement, chills and the unexpected. A
journey on the subway of New York thru the eyes of a retired NYC Transit Police Officer.

The visions seen and now revealed will make even the most hardened veteran traveler of
the subway look at the concrete and cold steel in a different manner. The visions that will
be shared can only be seen in the underground beast that is the subway of New York.

For an African-American, the police department seemed to be an enemy; something to be
feared not embraced. Brown’s decision to join the ranks of New York’s finest would be
one of the toughest decisions he would ever have to make, a decision he would have to
live with for the rest of his life.
